Halos are waterproof that have build in resistors for voltage change. These halos are not installed onto the actual headlight lenses but onto the headlight plastic bezel so no need to slit or open your headlights very easy install and very simple to wire
INSTALLATION:
Step 1: Start with a clean surface. Get a degreaser and a glass cleaner use both to get best results. Clean around the headlight on the headlight bezel(plastic around lense)
Step 2: Drill a small hole at the top of the plastic bezel we're the halo will mount drill the hole just big enough for the connector to fit though.
Step 3: Prep the halo to get put on, you will need clear or black RTV silicone( we have found black looks best) put a small amount on the backside all the way around, than feed the connector though the hole and set halo. Hold for 2-4 minutes to get best result.
Step 4: plug all the connects into the harness pigtail. There now all going to get wired together. Positive to positive and negative to negative, Wiring of the halos very simple. 12v Wire it either key on power, power from the headlights or always on power directly from battery thought a switch.
Red= positive
Black= negative
